What is the difference between a babysitter and a professional?

A babysitter plays with the children. A professional plays with  the children with a purpose.

OWNER

I am Vickie Morgan; I have been working with children in a family childcare setting
for more than 20 years. I started out working with my mother in her business when
I was pregnant with my first child. After the birth of my second child I decided to
buy a home and start my own business. In 1998 I opened my doors and have
been going strong ever since.

  • In 2004 I was Accredited by the National Association of Family Childcare.
  • I am a Credentialed Preschool Teacher.
  • I am a member of NAFCC.
  • I have presented workshops for other providers and parents.
  • I am a Mentor for other providers who are just starting in the field.
  • I continue to further my education and keep current with children's issues.
  • I am CPR and First Aid Certified.

MY STAFF

  • All of my assistants have been finger printed and have had an FBI
    background check.
  • All of my assistants have a current CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • All of my assistants have units in Early Childhood Education and attend
    workshops regularly.
